(Last Update October 24, 2006)
Wovenfare International Inc. (hereinafter “wovenfare™”) respects the privacy and the integrity of any information that you provide us as a user of this Site. Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, 2000 c.5. (the "Privacy Act") we have created the following Privacy Policy.
1. APPLICATION OF THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to wovenfare.com only. It will tell you how and why we gather personal and non-personal information about you.
This Site is connected by "hyperlinks" to other Sites. We are not responsible in any way for the privacy practices on other Sites and suggest that you review the privacy policies on those linked Sites before using them.
2. WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO YOU
We have designated an officer of the company to be accountable for our policies and practices with respect to the management of personal information. Any questions, comments or complaints that you might have about our privacy practices should be submitted in writing via email to privacy@wovenfare.com
3. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal Information
Personal information is information that specifically identifies an individual, such as a customer’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card or other account number, and information about that individual’s activities when directly linked to that person. Personal information also includes demographic information, such as gender, geographic area and preferences, when such information is linked to other personal information that identifies the individual.
We only collect personally identifiable information about you after you have specifically and knowingly provided such information to us. By voluntarily providing this information at various times while using our Site, such as submitting a comment or suggestion or entering a contest that is posted on our Site, you will be consenting to the collection and use of your personal information by us for that online activity. You are under no obligation to provide us with this information and can access many aspects of the Site without providing us any personal information.
Aggregate Information
Personal information does not include “aggregate” information. Aggregate information is data we collect about a group or category of products, services or customers, from which individual customer identities have been removed. For example, information about how you use a service may be collected and combined with information about how others use the same service, but no personal information will be included in the resulting data. Aggregate data helps us understand trends and customer needs so that we can better consider new products and services, and tailor existing products and services to customer desires.
4. THE PURPOSE FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you participate in an online activity, your personal information will only be used for the purposes of that online activity, unless you have otherwise provided us with your consent. We will collect and use personal information for the following purposes:
